Robert Hecht, District Attorney, has sought to create a unique, informational system that will be able to provide current information regarding the investigation, charging, prosecution and sentencing of those who commit criminal acts within this jurisdiction. The web site will include information regarding the office, the prosecutors and support staff, office programs, policies, and forms to assist in obtaining restitution and compensations and other assistance. information as to the activities of this office, the criminal justice system, new cases as well as the results obtained. Please feel free to suggest other areas in which you believe the office could provide information that would help you with the criminal justice system.
We try to keep the public informed as to the more serious crimes or the more unusual or those which may expose the public to some physical or financial risk. Additionally there are some matters that although they may not be violent in nature are of such community interest or consequence that we would be remiss in not making them public.
